A number of training/development courses were available to men reaching the rank of Captain. These helped prepare them for appointments at either the Admiralty or at sea. Such courses were also used as tests to see if men possessed the leadership qualities desired for Flag Rank. This page will ultimately contain a list of all courses that were run as well as a list of men who attended each course.
